National Red Ribbon Week @ CHS

I need individual members to take responsibility for different parts of this event so that no one person is doing it all.

These are the ideas that we have come up with so far.

1) Cigarette Butt Guess:

Who will coordinate this? ___________________

Ms. de La Bruere will supply bags and gloves

During Red Ribbon Week will have a table in Cafe where students can guess the number of butts for a prize? Make catchy posters to go with this?

2) Give out Red Ribbons to all TAs with explanation of history of Red Ribbon Week

Who will coordinate this? _________________________

Supply each TA teacher with a brief write up of the history and significance of Red Ribbon Week that will be read.
Shannon and I had a conversation after meeting on 10/1 about maybe having each student in TA make their own red ribbon if GMTI supplies blank red ribbons, sharpies, and double sided tape--What do people think?
Provide prizes to students wearing red ribbons throughout the week and at the end of week have a raffle of prizes promoting positive activities instead of doing drugs (movie passes, tickets to Dracula, etc...)

Need to solicit as many free prizes from local businesses and individuals as possible.

3) GIGANTIC BANNER at the entrance of the School- "NATIONAL RED RIBBON WEEK AT CHS OCTOBER 23-31"
